The 8th Annual Autumn JunkFest & Flea Market will be held in Carrington, North Dakota on Saturday, September 8th!
Youll find the JunkFest girls have once again brought elegance to roadside finds!
At JunkFest 2011, this beautiful dining table and chairs were center stage in front of a former post office cubby shown here displayed with vintage dishware.
Fabulous furniture and acessories for your home and garden will be plentiful again at JunkFest 2012.  In this photo from last years sale, a 70s waterbed headboard became a fun faux fireplace!  There will be stylish side tables, funky coffee tables, great junky chairs and much more at JunkFest 2012.
You will again find garden statues and loads of fun accessories!
80+ vendors will fill the various buildings and grassy areas of the fairgrounds.  You are sure to find fun fall decor and a variety of wares from local (even not so local) artisans!
Harvest tables, vintage wares, funky tablescapes...lots of fun repurposed and restyled merchandise will be for sale...
Heres the Dash to the Door from JunkFest 2011.  The sale opens promptly at 9AM...not a minute before!
Admission $5, kids free.  A portion of the admission proceeds will go to benefit the Kulsrud boys from Grace City, North Dakota.  Jay and Laura Kulsruds three sons, from left, Ty, 6, Lane, 11, and Tanner, 9, have each been diagnosed with pantothenate kinase-associated neurodegeneration, a rare genetic disease.  Anyone wishing to donate to this cause, please send your donation in care of: Kulsrud Band of Brothers Fund, Bremer Bank, PO Box 108, Carrington, ND 58421.  The family appreciates your support!
When you arrive to town, all signs will lead you to JunkFest...hope to see you all in Carrington, North Dakota on Saturday, September 8, 2012!
Like the leaves that swirled around her, she knew she had fallen for junk...

SweetMelissa writes: Georgia, that has to be the best idea I've heard in a long time! Our hearts bleed for the Kulsrud family. Andrea or I will check if there is an active account open for them at one of our local banks and comment with that information asap. Anyone interested in making an contribution to this family's extensive medical expenses please check back here, or contact one of us directly...our emails are in the "contact" tab on the top of the www.junk-fest.blogspot site.

georgiamoon writes: This looks like a great show. I want to go just to help that family. That is just tragic...all three of them! If everyone on this site sent $1.00 just think about how much that could help them. I'll send a buck if you tell us where to send it.
