Wild horses cant keep me away from vintage clothing. This little black dress went straight from the field to my suitcase.
OK, maybe this larger than life cow is not very practical, but it sure is fun to look at. Can you say Moo?
The ones that got away. These chairs are awesome. I didnt have my money with me when I spotted them and by the time I got back they were gone. No worries there are more where they came from.
Bring in the band! Band hats make perfect floral centerpieces for a whimsical dining experience.
Maybe you cant tune in to the olympics on this set, but it is ripe for re-purpose!
My reputation of finding and buying the heaviest thing at the flea market is in tact. A red stove? I just had to have it!
Good things come in small packages. I adored this well weathered kids cupboard.
This box is anything but standard.
This baby is on fire!

Employing my straight jacket technique (look first, buy later) I wandered the streets of the Oronoco Gold Rush days in search of fab finds to take home. Some of these things found their way into the truck, some got away, and some were just fun to look at!

Pleasure meeting you as well my new friend. Yes, indeed the weather was much better than last year, thank goodness! Can't wait to see your projects. Happy to hear the book provided some inspiration!

Take care,

I'm busy working on projects with the two "treasures" I found ... a buggy wheel (to become a wreath on an old farm door) and a bird cage which will (hopefully) become a hanging lamp ... straight out of Junk Beautiful! Thanks for all the inspiration!
