A zipper from a 1950s sleeping bag and a little bling. Flying by the seat of my pants...ya gotta love it!!
I started by wrapping it in front around my waist leaving equal lengths in the back. Here is the criss-cross in the back,
Then I brought it back to the front and tied a simple square knot.
I attached the bling to the zipper hardware.
Here is the beautiful bling. Thank you, Lanette! This has been worn on handbags, boot straps, and belt loops. This is the first time on a zipper. Have bling...will travel!!!
And there you have it...its a wrap!

I love fashion almost as much as I love junk. Yuppers...you heard me right. I've been traveling a lot, shooting stories, and starting new things of late, so needless to say I feel very much like I am living out of a suitcase. I needed to attend an event and found myself with no belt. Hmmm...wasn't really going to think about it too much, but as a good junker I am, if nothing else resourceful. I happened upon this 1950s sleeping bag zipper that has been used by me for many things and I thought to myself....hmmm. this could be ideal. I started in the front, criss-crossed it in the back, and tied in a square knot in the front. A little bling was needed so I attached a baubble that was given to me by my good friend, Lanette Lorsung. I didn't think too much about it, but everyone at the funtion loved it...so I thoght i would share it with you!
