Fashionable Junk
June 25th, 2012 in blog, projectsI love fashion almost as much as I love junk. Yuppers...you heard me right. I've been traveling a lot, shooting stories, and starting new things of late, so needless to say I feel very much like I am living out of a suitcase. I needed to attend an event and found myself with no belt. Hmmm...wasn't really going to think about it too much, but as a good junker I am, if nothing else resourceful. I happened upon this 1950s sleeping bag zipper that has been used by me for many things and I thought to myself....hmmm. this could be ideal. I started in the front, criss-crossed it in the back, and tied in a square knot in the front. A little bling was needed so I attached a baubble that was given to me by my good friend, Lanette Lorsung. I didn't think too much about it, but everyone at the funtion loved it...so I thoght i would share it with you!
After you make it, show it off to other members in the Member Junk area.
