went to an amazing yard sale (almost could call this one a one-family flea market!!!!) found 4 of these great old window screens from an old farmhouse screened in porch .... bought them for $2 a piece ... had so many different thoughts for these ... I have found a use for 1-2 of them .... take a look. Planted is butternut squash and I'm going to train it to run up the roping I tied to the screen frame. one down, 3 to go ... husband thought I was crazy for bringing these home :)

And, yes I am going to plant more vegetables and herbs ... this raised garden was just decided on two weeks ago .... so now I'm in the purchasing plants process ... so far I've gotten a butternut squash, okra, red peppers, two kinds of basil and some greek oregano. Still want to get some more tomato plants, and some other summer veggies, I'll post more pictures after things start growing :)

The very HOT summer did not do well for my little garden ... but as you can see I did yield ONE butternut squash and the window "trellis" worked great! Also had some peppers decide to grow and a couple of okra .... next garden will be bigger and better ... :)
