Julie states that her house is on the smallish size, so to take up space with a Christmas tree just doesn't make sense. Her solution, a layered chandelier style bling from the ceiling to represent the holidays.

In this photo you are able to see the bling in its setting. Julie had the help of her husband with hanging the farm implement item from the ceiling. Finding the studs in the ceiling was a must. If you notice the amount of ornaments attached, it does create quite a bit of weight, as Julie had gorgeous glass ornaments dripping throughout this display.

Take notice how the black shelf pops on the wall color and it is filled with fun Christmas items on display. Note the great ice skate display down low. Julie has a flair for design and sells her creations at the "Round Barn Potting Co." in Andover, MN.
A close up of Julie's great ice skate Holiday display. I think she made it, but I'm not sure. Thought it was a great idea, so wanted to share the close up photo I took as well.

Julie once again takes something vintage (silver compote) and turns it into a fabulous over the top display on her mantle.

When you walk in the door at Julie Pierce's home, this was what you would find at the holidays. It is a great focal piece and makes quite the statement.

I too am looking for white skates after posting this post. Funny, that I've had these photos for a year and not until I started posting them did I remember the awesome silver skate display. Love it in silver. Posted: 12:51 pm on November 26th
Thanks for sharing these beautiful and inspiring photos. Love the silver skates and that chandelier is amazing. Terrific idea for those who don't have the room for a full blown tree or even for those who travel at the holiday time.

Gretchen, I can't believe I passed up on purchasing some of those Christmas bulbs from Julie's sale. What a big
mistake. It is so nice that you took pictures of that home tour. You really forget a lot of what you see. So much to take in.
