Sophie the Dauchshund!

We have the most wonderful little dog named Sophie (named after one of my favorite Great Aunts) and I wanted to make an assemblage that fit her personality. A xylophone for her body was a no-brainer as she puts a song in our hearts (awwww ;-) ). I used part of a funnel and an electric plug for her nose. Her ears are made of old metal seat belt clasps and her tail of old lamp wire. I skipped making eyes and just used little rusty bolts for her eyebrows and I thought the "S" bling collar was a nice touch.

Please extend a warm welcome to our newest contributor to JMS. She is indeed one talented lady! Thanks for such a wonderful post, Jenny K! We all love our dogs don't we? I'm not sure what I would use to create a junkyard rendition of my JRT, Lily. She lives up to everything you've ever heard about Jack Russells. Thanks again!

Take care,
