Distressed End Table

I bought this funky old table with a plastic base for $3 at a junk shop.  I really didn't know what I was going to do with it at first.  So I scrubbed it clean and primed the entire piece.  When my hubby saw it primed he suggested that I paint it off white and antique it with a black glaze.  So I took his advice and sprayed the brass tassel hardware black as well and Viola!  A $3 table that is now worth a million bucks!  Well in my eyes it is!

InkByTheBarrel writes: Did you use a special primer, considering parts of it were plastic? I have a table that looks nothing like that, but parts are plastic and I want to paint it. I'm wondering how well the primer held. Posted: 2:59 pm on October 31st
