My daughters and I found some old black candle holders.  We made them very rustic looking by using a white, blue and used the cinnamon trick for rust.  It was alot of fun!

After the paint dries, I sanded over the cinnamon in spots lightly which gave it the brushed warn look also. I was so surprised at how authentic this really does look! Afterwards, I sprayed the candle holders with a clear gloss sealer. They even feel rusted. Posted: 8:23 pm on September 4th
