Vintage Cookie Jar Christmas Tree
November 19th, 2008 in member junkI decorated this tree for our local Festival of Trees event. I found an old McCoy cookie jar (with no lid) at our local Goodwill store. I used it as the tree stand for this 2 ft. tree. The ornaments are corrugated cardboard with scrapbooking paper for the frosting. I donated this one to be sold at the Festival of Trees. I liked it so much, I am using another cookie jar and making another one for me!

Welcome! I'm a big fan of McCoy. You have done something wonderful here with a piece lacking a top. Congrats! Love the the ornaments as well.
Take care,
