By now everyone knows, I LOVE old metal anything. When I found this pair of old window wells, I had a plan. I told my hubby about my plan, and then I was off to take care of my Dad. When I got home yesterday, this is how they looked, WOOHOO!!!
This is what he had to work with.
He did an awesome job! He put a bottom in it, added casters to roll it around, and added a hinged top. You could store so much in it.
It would make a great coffee table. He smoothed out all the rough edges too.

This project turned out just as I had visioned. I have the best hubby. I wish we could have found an old wooden sign to make the top out of, then it would be uber awesome.

clarerose writes: Great re-purposing! You can always add an old tin sign to the top when you find the right one. I like RustyDiva's patio cushion idea as you can use it as a seat then as well :) Posted: 6:59 pm on August 16th
