Rusty Wagon Wheel & Milk Can Table

One day I was sorting through treasures in my garage & I happened to sit a wagon wheel on top of a rusty milk can.  I had a light bulb moment & decided to create a table!  I had a friend weld the wagon wheel (which I found in Colorado on a cross-country road trip) to the milk can that I found in Astoria, Oregon.  I sanded the rust a bit, sprayed it with polyurethane & then added a piece of glass. cool table created!  :)

patina+whimsy writes: I haven't been on here in quite a while, so I didn't see your comments. It seems to be all over Pinterest now & showed up on my Facebook feed when a friend shared it from another group!

It sold a long time ago, but I hope to make another one at some point. I just need to collect the pieces again!

The glass just sat on top of the wheel. I added those little sticky protectors to the top of the wheel so the glass wouldn't get scratched.
