Silverplate English Tea Kerosene Lantern Trophy Birdhouse
August 2nd, 2011 in member junkThis birdhouse kind of slowly started to resemble the structure of a trophy as a continued building it. I started with an antique silver base to a Svea (of Sweden) No. 121 camping stove. It's got the pump/primer valve and fold down legs. From there, I had some pieces to a silver candlestick to bring up the height. After that, I used the top to a silverplate candy dish to got under the bottom of the English Breakfast Tea Canister. Handles from various silverplate items were used for the side handles and the perch. I used an inverted silverplate cup on top with a small footing of another cup on top of that. Silver all the way around!
Here are the measurements...
Height: 15"; Width (side to side): 7"; Depth (front to back): 8".
