Flowers in a cork....ready to travel!
Sometimes when I find a piece of junk I think it is more fun to divide it up than to use it as the whole. I found 24 of these bottles in a crate and decided the crate woiuld be best used for somrthing else so needed to do something with all of the bottled. They are cute as can be with their little cork tops!
I removed the cork tops and put some pebbles in the bottles and filled with water.
I love the look of pebbles in water. It's just a little added detail that makes all the difference.
Instead of popping the cork I drilled the cork. Te He! I drilled the hole large enough to hold three stems.
The stems slide nicely right into the cork.
After the flowers are in place slip cork back into the bottle.
Looks like the flowers are growing right out of the cork.
Or three little Daisies. Cute as a button and easy. Doesn't get any better than that

Summer is so short that we have to take every chance we can to enjoy it. Pic-a-nics are a favorite pastime here in Minnesota so I thought I would create a centerpiece you can enjoy at home or as a take along on a countryside picnic. It's also easy, peazy, lemon squeazy so you don't have to waste valuable outdoor time. Twofer!!!
