The first time a Flag of the United States of America containing a Union of 50 stars  flew was on July 4th 1960 at 12:01 A.M. when it was raised at the Fort McHenry National Monument in Baltimore, Maryland.
This American Flag has been in our family since my grandfather purchased it at F. W. Woolworths that same year.

Very neat flag. I have one in my possession. Spent the 4th at FAIRBURY,NEBRASKA at a flea market which I have done for 15 years. It's a lot of fun and lots of JUNK.Spend time with friends and alot of fireworks and the ole timers play their instruments by my booth in the park by the big fontain. It's a neat celebration.

Have a nice day.

My family has a flag too that the U.S. Gov. gave to my Grandmother when my Grandfather died, after his service in Korea. I just hope that one day my son will "get it" before he gets it. he,he Posted: 7:14 pm on July 4th
