The hardware adds some fun bling to the top along with some added paint.
The color was dark turquoise and I dragged a lighter turquoise over the surface. The top was peeling veneer, and the front had no drawers, so I added a cabinet door for a new topand front.
Lets take one side of a vanity table (no drawers) and make something cool....
When I dragged the paint on the faux door front, I could see some embossed lettering which added some pizazz :)
I attached some wire screen material for the heck of it...and stuffed a little grass and flowers. This cabinet door front is attached permanently and doesn't open. But I love the hinges hanging off the side :)

This half of a vanity's drawers was too cute to leave behind. The cabinet doors were laying around in my barn and just happen to fit perfectly on the top and front. It took all of about 20 minutes to assemble :)
