dilapidated rocking chair redux

this is what it looked like when I found it. It did have a woven seat, but it was already half gone, so I ripped the rest of it off before I took this picture.
I went over it with some white paint. i didnt want the paint job to look perfect to freshen it up a little. I also got a piece of plywood cut at Home Depot for the seat.
I made a seat cushion from an old pillow and covered it with a vintage linen I scored at Goodwill for $1.99 a while back. I draped an old quilt over the back and propped a throw pillow on it.

Voila! The perfect addition to my living room.

I love giving an old forgotten object a new life. :)
