This look makes me smile and think of the spring days that lie ahead. Bring on the sunshine! Please!!!
I think weve all seen drawers like this before. Am I right?
I love the handle. I know its not rusty, but its still cool!
I painted the bottom of the drawer with chalk board paint and opted for some green chalk over white. Just the right amount of color! The open side of the drawer makes for easy hanging if you choose to display you chalk board in that fashion.
Next comes the embellishment. You know what this Sue W. and the other Sue W. always say...Its all in the details.
The flower is cut from decorative paper and glued toghether. I attached a magnet to the head of the flower.
And here is my layered up flower with its magnetic personality. P{ages of old books were used in the making of this little Posie.
Wa, La! It is all said and done now.

I was fortunate enough to come across a multitude of old metal drawers and knew, from the moment I saw them just what they would become. Everybody needs a chalk board or two in their lives....so here's an idea that can be easily acheived.

How about magnetic hooks on the inside for hanging keys and such? Or design a magnetic shelf system inside?
That's the thing with this stuff, ALWAYS an IDEA!
