My gazing ball

I was inspired by the work of Margaret Larkin to create this gazing ball from vintage jewelry and buttons. I used a softball as the base and first covered it with vintage textile remnants. For the top layer, I added a variety of vintage buttons, and jewelry parts and pieces. It's a wonderful feeling to just hold it in my hands and look at it.
