This terrarium was found at PA garage sale and I was told it was used as a cupcake display in a bakery, still had paper doilies inside. As I am a big fan of terrariums I new what the next life of this find will be.

shabbychick writes: Nice job on your terrarium! I used to have one (back in the 70s/80s...one of those big plastic bubble ones on a stand - I know some of you remember those, right???) - brought back a memory! (ha ha)

Enjoy the day,

vecernice writes: That is correct Gretchen. In the smaller jars are different objects found in nature and small birds with stone eggs that could be found in craft stores.

I have to admit that I am not good gardener at all and this fern died eventually. I replaced it right away with succulents and they are doing just fine.

MimiToria writes: Georgia I think what looks like eyeballs is really two mushroom birds that are a pair. Am I right, vecernice?
This is an awesome little terrarium now, and must of meant to be just such. Glad you found it.

Beautiful find!

georgiamoon writes: Well I think that I love this. It is so cute. You picked the absolute right thing to do with this great garage sale find. I like the big jars with stuff in them too but I can't tell exactly what it is...I'm thinking that the one on the bottom left is NOT eyeballs, and they probably have plants and things in them right? Great job and I'm lovin' all your posts! Georgia Posted: 1:36 pm on November 8th
