Thanks to my DH, I have my own "junk shed" to protect my junk from the Minnesota winter! Before...a dog kennel. After...a junk shed made entirely out of junk! The cost? Nothing! All materials free! See more photos and details in my blog entry...

Take care,

CottageElements writes: Amy, love the metal on your shed! Wouldn't it be great on an inside wall? It would give it that industrial ala junk look. Very cool!

Kathy, as to having too much junk to move, we moved two years ago. The movers thought they could get everything moved in four hours. Three more trucks and eight hours later, we got it done (plus a lot of extra $$$$). Next time we move, my husband said we'll have to have a garage sale (or an estate sale!)

shabbychick writes: A great junk shed!! And, the "paint job" gives it such a wonderful aged patina!!! Too funny! And, so great that your materials were free!! Bet you'll fill it up fast!

My "junk storage" and workspace is down in our basement - I'm trying to keep it all in one half...and am getting ready to hang some old curtains around the area so it's a "bit" hidden (and "pretty it up" too)! My husband says we'll never be able to move...too much stuff...don't know what he's talking about... ;) My girlfriend and I also have a workshop that's usually filled to the brim...it's all just too much fun!! So much for Junkaholics Anonymous...

Mom & I have listened to our sweet relatives who don't get why we love "stuff" & I'm always so excited with our treasures we find. Don't you dare paint it. It's beautiful. I wish you the best with the sale. Posted: 9:39 am on November 4th
junktiqueboutique writes: I love your shed. My husband & I worked on something to keep our junk out of the winter weather yesterday. It was made from stuff we hauled home for free too. I've always told him
we need to bring home all the galvanized metal we see. Well,
I showed him your shed and told him "See what we could have built". Maybe I'll have one like you NEXT year. Love your "paint" job too. Posted: 8:04 am on November 4th
