Heres an industrial lamp turned display.
I was lucky enough to find a pair of these great old industrial lights in really good condition.
Remove the glass and give it and the base a good cleaning.
Take the wiring out. I always save this stuff incase I want to put the lamp back together again down the line.
Fill the glass to the top with something fun and interesting. I used wood Scrabble letters here, but the sky is the limit...
Screw the fixture base back onto the glass and place it into your base. I used a neat old gear for this display.

Here's an industrial lamp turned display.

I was reading Debbiejean's "HELP" post from Oct 12 and the snap of the industrial lamps in photo #4 caught my eye... Here's a quick design treatment I've done with some lamps of my own.

I opened it to find a cute, little old wooden MOON! which I will add to my collection of moons here in the shop. What a nice surprise and a thoughtful thing to do. I love it. Thank you and I am so glad to see all of your posts. I knew you'd love it here! Talk soon, geo Posted: 6:13 pm on November 1st
