Mimi-Toria's Version of SteamPunk

This necklace went home with Lanette, as she has been asking for something like this for a while now.  I finally was inspired to create a statement piece for her, and here it is.
This photo shows the front side of the focal, and the detailing of the pieces I added to create this into a believer style necklace.
The back side of the focal can also be worn, and this piece can be worn reversed as well, as all of the religious charms are two sided.
Im very into details, so this touch of palest of pink silk ribbon, contributes to the touch here, and Ive chosen special vintage religious charms and used the sides most applicable to what I was trying to portray in this design.
Gorgeous Italian charm Pray for Us.
The key was added as another significant piece of detailing.  Someone is the key to Life in a believer.  I think you know the answer to that someone...   Details again.
Again details.  I made this clasp closure to be adjustable, so that the length could be changed on it, and this photo shows the dangle elements that Ive added to this portion of chain.

This was a fun piece to design and create.  So much so, that I would have kept it myself had it not sold first thing at the Trunk Show to Lani.  I made it with her in mind, as I stated earlier she'd been asking about one for quite some time.  It just fit into the whole SteamPunk inspired focal piece that I had created last week, so this week when I took this focal in my hands to create a necklace for it, I knew what I was going to do.  Combine it with a stash of religious medals I had been hoarding.

This new line went over very well yesterday at my Trunk Show, and will be something that I continue to create while I still have the supplies on hand.  Enjoy!

Thank you Lani for taking these photos of the necklace you purchased, for editing them and sending them to me, so that I'd have time to post this post.  Life has been busy, and this was a big help.

There are some more detailed photos of it currently featured on my blog, which you can find at www.mimitoriasdesigns.blogspot.com , along with more details on the overall creation of this piece.
Thanks for taking the time to comment. It means the world to me.
