I picked up this old fence piece at auction. Thought it would make a good centerpiece for my flower garden. I painted the barn star and add the odd gardening pieces as I find them.
I buy old chairs whenever I find them cheap since I leave them outside year round. I painted this old chair with lime green enamel paint. It has been in the weather for 2 years now. The aluminum horse spring rider is an auction find.
This is another auction find. The childs toy baby bed makes a great display for my container flowers.
This old step back chair at one time had a cane seat. I painted the chair with watered down white paint for that white wash look.
Whenever I find graniteware cheap I buy it for flower containers. This one happened to be trimmed in red so I potted the red begonias for accent.

I love the spring season. This is when I can get creative with planting flowers. I collect containers throughout the year anticipate the end of winter. Here are a few of my ideas with different containers and props. Hope you enjoy looking.
