Ive always loved vintage baby stuff...
I guess I just couldnt stop myself...
This little dolly bed makes a great shelf...
This was one of my first dolls from when I was a baby.  She has a bed of her own...
The skirt was made by my MIL using vintage drapes I found on ebay combined with a thrift store crib skirt.
Love vintage baby linens too!
Who needs a store bought mobile when inexpensive paper lanterns will do???
a vintage kitty pillow and a wire magazine rack for books...
A little baby cradle holds more books...
Vintage suitcase for storage of course...
And even more little finds sitting on an upside down shelf above the window...
As I was packing up all these special little cuties, one thought kept running through my mind...What in the world am I going to do with all this stuff now!?!  :)
Stay tuned for pictures of the Big Girl room...still in progress...

Well, my "baby" is almost 3...so I guess it's time to say goodbye to the "Baby Room"...although it's hard to see it go, I'm looking forward to the next phase too.  My decorating style has changed "a bit" in the last 3 years so it will be fun to re-do and add in some elements that reflect my daughter's personality too...as my little Elsa would say, "PINK, PINK, PINK!"  But I couldn't just pack it all up without sharing it with my friends at JMS.  I collected most of her vintage goodies at thrift stores, garage sales and flea markets.  Thanks for taking a peek and helping me say..."Bye, bye Baby...sniff, sniff...

ShuginBoots writes: SUCH a cool idea for a baby's room. I love anything vintage, and I'm kinda not thrilled by pink and lace, etc. This is AWESOME!
Good job!
Good luck w/ the big girl room!

CottageElements writes: Laurel, I know how you feel. My daughter's room when she was little was all girlie pink. As soon as she could tell me, she let me know in no uncertain terms she didn't like pink, and didn't like anything girlie. Well I had fun while I could. LOL! Hoping if you're lucky, your daughter will share in your passion for all things vintage!

Can't wait to see how her big 3 year old girl room looks. It's always bittersweet with our children...want them to stay small always, but it's such a blessing to experience the years with them as they grow. Elsa's right "PINK!" Posted: 6:55 am on August 14th

Now my pre-teen daughter hates pink and wants lime green everywhere! How fast they grow up. Thanks for sharing this Laurel ~ I can feel your nostalgia through the pictures and can't wait to see the next phase.
