I couldnt resist these trucks for a buck apiece at my neighbors yard sale, but my grandson was not so impressed with them. So, I thought, what the heck, Ill just put them with something else I like, so heres my trucks and plants combo.
Ive discovered a way to make faux glass blocks. Just take two of those rectangular vases that are so common now and lay them on their sides end to end. You can fill them with keepsakes or seasonal decor and either glue them together or not.
I made this necklace with silk cord and a car part (from an air bag assembly, I think) that my hubby brought home from work. The little gold ball snaps out, for some reason.
I found the perfect topper for one of my pedestals. This little girl holding a shell came from the Sal Army store.
This potpourri display is in a vintage ceiling light glass with a pretty Christmas ball and a piece of ribbon.
