school house to doll house

I found this in my alley.  I drove by it for 3 days...before I finally picked it up.
And this is what the school has has become.  Ruthies doll house.  It has paper on the walls, and scrapbook art too.  I found a locker mirror that is mounted on the wall on the lower level.  Im still working on the pink front door.
And this is the back of the beach cottage...french doors and all.  I think I need one more picture frame for a window under the star.  A beach cottage has to have a view.

Shutters and windows were made from popsicle sticks and picture frames from the $1 store.  Rugs are made from left over scraps of fabric.  Detail over the french door is a drawer pull plate.

The casters were a nice addition - it looks like it could be kinda heavy to pick up. And, so cool that it's a beach cottage - I'm tempted to move in!!!

What a lucky little girl! Thanks for sharing your "Home Makeover"!
