A new batch of paperweights filled with lots of goodies.  Dont ya just love the one with the four-leaf clovers (and the little sailboat)???
And these pink beauties are from my own collection...but theyre looking for new homes!
I bought a stack of old picture frames, and decided to turn them into chalkboards.  I LOVE chalkboard paint!  (I think Ill try the new colors next time.)
I made this POSEY sign out of a cabinet panel.  And those faucet handles never need to be watered...gotta love that!
Weve got legs - great, chunky dining table legs - to build your own, or turn them upside down and theyd make great architectural pieces for a mantle...
And, if youre in the mood for some world travel - a few vintage suitcases would be divine!!  (or great for storage and display)
A stack of old nautical themed trays - how cool!
Collages and soldered jewelry by Terri.
Some more of her great redesigned bling!!
Is this little desk not the sweetest thing???  We took out the solid panel and added a mirror (pay no attention to the foot in the reflection).
And, you know I just had to make some button bokays - clock parts are the theme here (and there are lots more).
Jars and jars of jewelry pieces and parts...and buttons too - for your crafting needs!

I know this is short notice...but I'd SO love for you to visit our first annual "Vintage Market Day" (aka our first occasional sale!!).

When:  Saturday, July 24th

Time:  9am - 3pm

Where:  1985 Richwood Drive in sunny Mansfield, Ohio

What you'll find:  Lots and lots of antiques, primitives, trash-to-treasured vintage decor for your home and garden, redesigned vintage jewelry, junk AND MORE!

My friends (Terri, Carol, Robin, Ginny and a few others) and I have collected, cleaned, repaired, painted AND created until all hours of the night...  Actually, I've been thinking of putting a cot in my basement!  A lot of it has been piling up (I mean stored...) in my basement - and right now, there's at least a path to walk through!  We've got SO much stuff!!!!!!  There are 5 or 6 of us, and I gotta say we're experts in the science of collecting (I did not say hoarding...) - so you just don't know what you'll find here!

I've posted new pics on my blog - www.sylviasdaughter.blogspot.com - and wanted to share a few here too.  There are so many successful occasional sales in Minnesota, and of course those Junkfest girls just really know how to throw a great sale (and I will visit it one of these days...promise!).  So.......we're going to give it a try too.  We've handed out flyers EVERYWHERE, advertised in the local newspaper, on my blog, and craigslist - so, I'm expecting just a few shoppers.  I've gotten emails from blogging friends from different parts of Ohio - and I can't wait to meet them.  And, I've been told that our very own Junkermidge is hoping to make the trip too - woo hoo!!!

Even though it's supposed to be close to 90 degrees on Saturday, we've chosen (actually I almost made it mandatory - ha ha) - that we wear vintage dresses, aprons and hats - so that will definitely make for some fun photo ops!!!  And, there will be refreshments (cookies and lemonade) AND door prizes - sounds just about perfect, right???  Now all we need are customers (oh yeah...and dry weather would be awesome too)!

So, I know lots of you are too far away to visit - but I wanted to show you what I've been up to - and it's just alot of plain ol' junk busy-ness!

Have a great summery weekend!

Kathy

P.S.  Oh yeah...almost forgot - there will be a few clocks for sale too!

P.S. and FYI - I'm already planning for next year - it'll be Saturday, July 23, 2011 - save the date!! :)  (I'm such a planner.........)
