I thought it needed some patriotic spirit!
It hangs on the rail up the steps to my front porch and is all ready for the 4th of July!
Glad I stumbled upon this!
This was one of our old, tattered, retired flags that I cut down to make a smaller one for the front yard. faithful old cement mixer turned planter is decked out in red, white and blue too!

No idea what it is, but I found this rusty metal cone thingy with a big hook on the end and grabbed it at a yard sale. The lady was shocked - said it was in the garbage pile, not the sale pile and gave it to me for nothing! My happy! :)

JunkArchitect writes: Very cool rusty metal thing. I want your cement mixer; it looks amazing as a planter.
If you stood the mixer vertical would it work as a table base? It is SO cool!
