Love the old box...what to do with that? 
Pulled out a staircase spindle that I rescued from the trash after renovations...Cut it in half and left it raw.
Close up of the rusty metal plate I found in the road one day....which I  thought too cool to discard because it would come in handy one day....

Here are the red white and blue poker chips from my junk swap partner Patti (UpYourAttic) ... originally I planned to make a garland or just use them as tags but then the patriotic colors spoke to me...
