Theres just something about these little lovelies that I just cant get enough of...
Grate for my plants...
I found three of these fireplace grates at a garage sale. Of course I scooped them all up and have them nestled into my landscaping with plants.
Grate for pictures...
A feminine design for my girly-girl...
And one more masculine for my son who is all boy...
Grate layered into my decorating...
again...
and again...
Grate in the bathroom...
Adding some interest to an otherwise big, boring mirror...
Grate for entertaining inside...
And outside...
I seem to be drawn more to the metal version...but the wood varieties are fun too.

There's just something about these "little lovelies" that I just can't get enough of...

Our friend Lani introduced us to her affection for cool mirrors and that inspired me to show you my "little obsession".  Grates, grates, grates...I can't get enough of them...and I have this sneaking suspicion that I am not alone...;)

folkrrt writes: It's always fun to have a close encounter with a grate when crossing the street. They can be spellbinding. I know of a local who has a dozen or so in her garden walk area. Heavy lifting indeed. Posted: 10:09 pm on June 27th

RustyDiva writes: Love the grates but alas they are few and far between in these parts. My fave is the deep one you have outside with the candle jars in it. Very cool!

TimeOnMyHands writes: I love this idea! How many times do you see a fireplace grate, want it and wonder what you'd do with it? Now I know! A thick piece of abandoned glass on top would bring this up to another level. LOVE IT!! Posted: 8:59 pm on June 23rd
