Vintage GE School Drinking Fountain turned Bird Bath Fountain

WOW!

This is so neat to post photos of my ideas and projects.

It's so nice to see ALL the other JUNKIES out there.

My profile photo is a Vintage General Electric School Drinking Fountain that I got at a auction for only $10.

I brought it home and gutted it out (with the help of my husband).

I primed it, painted it, put in a 5 gallon bucket, filled it up with water and put in a water feature pump.

VIOLA! Its a Bird Bath.

The birds love it!

QueenofGreen writes: I love this lots! By the way, I have an old oil/kerosene heater like yours to the right of the fountain. I want to take the insides out and place a pillar candle inside so light comes from the top and the little front grate. But everything is welded together! Posted: 8:16 am on March 15th
