Old door knobs opened the door to new ideas as they served as a vases for floral sprigs among...
place settings with layers of vintage and antique plates, which were...
featured in this workshop entitled Vintage Dinner Party Tabletop. It was hosted by Martha Lunde of Marthas Gardens and Sue of JUNKMARKET. It was a fun and educational hour!
Linda Haus and Lin Cable of Rockler rocked it out in their Woodworking for Junkers workshop. They made this table top out of...
these salvaged boards. I learned a lot about working with vintage materials.
These artisan painted flower pots by Julie Pierce are the perfect way to kick off the spring and inspire us all year round...
...while these artisan creations by Hal Davis are definitely head turners!
Angela Carlson crafted these colorful and creative flowers out of magazine pages.
This jewelry creation by Gretchen Schaumann of Mimi-Torias Designs speaks to the junker in all of us!
And this creation by Shayne Barsness of Style Minneapolis makes the perfect gift for the mom who appreciates vintage jewelry.
One of the things that I learned to appreciate the most about this type of event was the styling. A team of talented AAJMS people worked endlessly to create spaces that inspire the imagination of everyone who passed by. They made it look so effortless. Such junk talent!
This display mixes such a wonderful array of textures. It looks like Buddy called dibs on that spot, but Im sure he would share!

MimiToria writes: Excellent post, Amy. I would of loved to of peaked in on some of the classes, but was working my jewelry area, so missed them all, but seeing your photos is wonderful. Thanks! You are such a great photographer and you capture the most interesting elements. Thanks again for sharing and taking the time to do so.
