I've been busy this past month making tree ornaments out of old crystals and cutlery.  Here are some pieces with crystals.  Not sure if you can read the words, but they are JOY, LOVE, NOEL, WISH, etc.

MimiToria writes: fellowjunker I would agree totally with what Georgia stated in her post. You've got an incredible gift, so even though you may not have kindred spirits in your circle of friends, please consider us your new junk market circle of friends. We love your style, your feminine posts, and elegant restyling of junk. I love crystals, I love rust, and I love the vintage over the new anyday. I'm glad you're here and again, thanks so much for sharing.

fellowjunker writes: Hey Gretchen. Yes, they are flat on one side. I saw what you did with the old crystal and the Eiffel tower picture and I absolutely loved it. I collect Eiffel towers and love anything Parisian!! Last year I put some vintage christmas themed pictures on the back of crystals and used them as ornaments. Got the idea from the book, Vintage Christmas. Anyways, thanks for all the encouragement. Not many of my friends or family are into junk and decorating so it is so nice to share with like-minded people. Posted: 10:46 pm on October 19th
MimiToria writes: Are you using the little hexagon shaped prisms for this project, that maybe have one side that is flat and the other is faceted? Another fun idea.
Say, you mentioned having trouble with your photos in your earlier post, and not sure if you have an option for doing this or not, but if you want to take detail/close-up photos if you change your camera setting to the flower icon, it usually will give you good detailing for close up shots. I learned this by trial and error as I do jewelry design and constantly had to take close up and detailed photos of my designs.
