The before...
And after.
Just a bit of glitter on the petals makes quite a difference.

This was one of those quick transformations. The dish was half off at the thrift store and my husband said, "but it's missing the part for the well."I know that but how can I leave this pretty little dish here to get broken and thrown away?

The day before I found the flower pot at a yard sale for $0.50.Now I have to say I am SO not a fan of fake flowers.I really do not get into them and yet a voice in my head was saying, "That has potential".  Into the car it went.

Being a HUGE fan of glitter I realized I could transform the flowers.  A bit of glitter on the petals and I'm hooked.  I left some uncovered so you get the illusion of different levals of light affecting the petals.

A bit of ivory paint to cover the pot and voila - a match!!!

Even hubby had to admit, "Wow that really does look better."
