Thursday night treasures.  What a great chair.  Heavy and sturdy but a complete overhaul is in the works!
And of course someone tossed out all these great chair rails.  Oh the projects!
This wood, queen bed footboard (which weighs a ton) was next to a dumpster in back of our law office. I just had to have it!  It has great carvings.  Looks like a bench?
Although it was heavy and awkward I finally got it shoved into my car.  What luck!  Too bad I couldnt fit the wood dresser and side table. Shucks!

 So its Thursday night again and my weekly jaunt through the neighborhood checking out the toss aways.  Of course who can ignore all the obvious wood!  I bribed our office intern into my habit.  Can you imagine 2 women walking in the dark with a dog checking out trash piles?  I hope they don't think we're homeless!
