Well I completed the long Window, It has got my sons Senior photos on it. Nick was surprised that the window was just for him, I told him I had another idea for his sister Courtney because I know I will need alot more windows with her. I was gonna hang it on the ceiling but It wasn't easy to find the studs, believe it or not that window is kinda heavy, I love the project and guess what, my husband didn't think it was that bad either.                      Joan

CottageElements writes: Hi, Joan, and welcome to the site! I love windows and they were a great way to display my son's senior pictures, too. I had a window screen made from two windows. I got quite the compliments at his open house. I think what you can do with your window is to take some "L" brackets and add them to the bottom so you don't need to lean it up against the wall if you don't want to (rather than try to hang it). I also used a baby bed spring with pictures attached to it to display pictures of him when he was little (a revised version of it was used in the October Country Home as a desk organizer). It really does make a statement. Thanks taking the new-be plunge and sharing your project!

MimiToria writes: lovethejunk- this window turned out so good. I too like it leaning against the wall. Your wall color looks great with the contrasting white of the window display pc.
You'll be converting your family in no time, with great projects like these!
Take a look sometime at "Cottageelements" earlier postings. If you see her post if you click on her name it will open up all of her prior project postings and one of her earlest ones shares several ideas she did last Spring for her sons graduation photo displays. I think you'd enjoy seeing her post. She goes by the name Lani and has a photo of herself with blond long hair.

suewhitney writes: Great way to put out the photos! Just another perfect use for old windows. i must confess I did a window in my daughter's room. She can change pictures up anytime she wants. I think it is her favorite piece. Nice work and thanks for sharing this and all of your ideas.

Take care,

csudderth writes: What a creative way to display those senior pictures. You spend a fortune on them so you sure want everyone to see them. I like this so much better than just framing them and hanging them on the wall.

junkinhart writes: Oh Joan, that turned out beautiful!! I love the look of just leaning it in the corner!! Having to cut the bottom off gave it a purpose of being leaned -- it worked out wonderful, almost like a ladder!!

Keep posting, love seeing your creations!!
