The roof was made from a couple unfinished picture frames, and covered with fabric and embellished with buttons, jewelry, etc...
Heres a close-up of the other side of the roof.

Designed by my friend, Terri and I, it's made of small louvered shutters and a couple picture frames for a roof.  Fabric, jewelry, buttons, etc. were used to embellish the roof.  Glass was cut to use as shelves.  This is another fun piece to decorate - and can be easily changed seasonally.  It's nice because it's small and could fit almost anywhere.

This one sold over the summer - so, now I need to build one for myself!

The back is open so it can be viewed from either side, and to keep it from being too dark - the shutters could even be opened up a bit to let more light in.

It might be kind of cool to back it with a mirror too...
