A Great Marriage

This is a very simple project- a marriage of two pieces to make a decorative new useful piece!  I've had one of those old metal stand strainers for quite awhile, just waiting until I could think of what I wanted to do with it.  I tried putting it together with many other pieces, but never quite found what I was looking for.  This weekend, I found this aluminum footed steamer and decided to see what I could do with it- I discovered when I closed it up, turned it upside down, and placed it in the strainer- it fit into the opening and the steamer feet held it in place.  I think it now makes a great display piece for art, candles, whatever.  And since nothing is affixed permanently, it can be re-used for whatever...I love the metallic industrial look!
