Bird in the Cage...
January 30th, 2010 in member junk
I love using junk for collage and assemblage! I had a vintage bingo cage which was broken off its base, and thought it would make a cute little bird cage. I used an old erector set piece for a base- attaching it was a little more difficult than it looks, as the cage end wires tend to separate...thanks to my patient husband for his help with that! A craft bird nest with some moss, old wood bingo balls for eggs, and an old "bird" flash card topped it off! My first post...hope you like it!

Awesome post - oh so cute - and very clever use of the bingo cage - as well as the other elements in this project.
Can't wait to see what you come up with next!
Thanks for sharing.
