Was such a nice weekend JH and I went junking.  Started out at an EA Saturday--nothing to bring home--too much $$$ but beautiful antiques.  Hit a couple of ES Sunday.  Picked up these items.  I was amazed at the 1966 "craft making" books out of household items.  1960's style junk repurposing.  Had a great time too bad had to go home to get ready for dinner.

LuAnn writes: I'll let you know what I come up with. Although most of the plastic bottles shapres aren't made any more but will see what I can come up with--how about a curler holder (made from a plastic bottle)? It was such a hoot to look at these.

Talk soon.

georgiamoon writes: Ah a good day of junking is just about the best thing on earth. Makes you feel so good to rescue all these great things from someone who may not appreciate them. Are you going to try some of the 60's art projects? You may have to update them a little to make use of more junk items but I think that would be a fun challenge! Let us see what you do Ok? love ya, geo Posted: 3:36 pm on October 5th
