These are some of my finished bottles.  I also chilled and filled a few with lemonade and punch and put them on my table as festive Christmas containers.
Finally, I got one of my many projects up on this site!  Besides being a recycling junkaholic Im also an addicted paintaholic.  But this project was right up my alley! Paint, replace with new corks...another Reusable item.
This was a favorite because of the grape theme. Lots of wine drinkers out there.
I did a few spiritual bottles.  My dad always said, give thanks.
Where would you be without festive Christmas bottles!  A winter snow scene, a funky poinsetta and of course you cant forget the Joy to the World bottle.

So I would never throw out my recycled juice bottles...NO NEVER!  I loved their shapes, colors and the smoothness of the glass.  But for the life of me I just couldnt figure out what to do with the many boxes I kept filling.  I finally painted a few for my nephews last year and that became a big hit.  So with lots of wine bottle donations from friends (boy can they drink!) I decided to do my first crafts show this past December with my friend Jeannette.  The whole event was lots of fun and hilarious (what mistakes we made)!  We just had to celebrate afterwards with some coffee and dessert (I think that was the best part!).

Rawnie writes: I paint on all kinds of glass too, but I've always just used the folk art acrylic paint for glass that you cure by baking (or letting sit forever). I am hoping that you might be willing to tell me what paints you use. It looks to be a base of Gesso, the regular acrylics and did you say just regular polyurethane?? I have JUST joined this site, an d have not yet posted anything. I do LOVE all your projects, you are very talented!!! Posted: 2:41 pm on August 19th
