Music to My Bar

This was an old Victrola that I rescued from a junk store for about 30 bucks!  It was water-stained and the veneer was peeling but it just needed some TLC.  I cleaned it up, re-glued the veneer strips and polished the little brass knobs.  Most of the guts were missing but the cabinet was in good shape and it still had the green felt-covered record disk for a display area.  Also, all the neat cubby holes, drawer and a pull-out panel (which works great for placing the set-ups for the "libation of the moment") were intact.  I'd used it as a liquor cabinet for years but since the top part looked better with the lid raised, I decided to put my reproduction old-time radio there.  Tunes and cocktails made for a Happy New Year!
