Look at that spooky smilin' face! We think it's an old barrel lid, but not sure. I do know that it just doesn't matter. One look at him and you can't help but giggle!
Bart, ready to welcome visitors to the porch.
I drilled a small hole in the bottom edge and twisted in an old hook to support the childs jacket.
Bart's head is attached to the vintage pitchfork with wire looped around the back of the lid and the middle tine of the fork.
An adult size vintage wooden hanger gives the childs jacket just the right amount of fullness to make Bart's arms stand out.
Another look at Bart's parts.

Some junk just speaks to you. That's how Bart the one legged cowboy was created. One look at his "face" and he told us exactly who he was. Poised behind the see saw bench and sportin' a pair of children's cowboy boots and jean jacket, he is ready to greet visitiors to the Falloween porch.
