These red tealight holders were purchased at WalMart for .50 each!
This is the before. Actually, this is more the middle. I had already stripped this of its wiring. I usually forget to take this shot.

I purchased this lamp base at an estate auction last week. I was going to paint it, but once I cleaned it up, I discovered the brass material. It has such a nice patina, I decided to not paint it. I removed all the wiring, wrapped scrapbooking paper around the tubes and glued red tealight cups to the light sockets. It took all of ten minutes. Nifty!

Lamp $2.50  Tea lights 3 at .50 each. Scrapbooking paper  .50. This project cost less than $5 bucks! Thrifty!
