I found misc. hooks and brackets which work out great to hang all the stuff.
The back of the shelves are the doors.
I just couldnt waste any part of the door, so I made a chalk board. I used a solid pine closet door for the smaller shelves.
I found brackets that where called harness hooks to use for hanging the saw horses. Ok, I know my saw horses are dirty, theyre well used.
This wall in my garage needed help, mud and paint. Ive had 2 old doors and misc. closet doors sitting in my garage for a couple of years. One day it came to me! use the doors for shelves.

One day it came to me what to do with the doors in the garage. My goal was to use up all the scraps that we had in our garage. I sliced the doors to use as the back of the shelves, used plywood scraps for the brackets and shelves. I did have to buy the plywood paneling. Wow did this swallow up a lot of stuff. I'm now on the hunt for more free doors to do the other walls in the garage.

Now you will just need to keep on looking for more doors to finish the other walls. Such a problem to have! ~judi ;) Posted: 2:55 pm on November 27th

I guess I would have never noticed the dirty saw horses, I was too busy staring at your great shelf! Now I better get to work on my garage! Nothing, no where near as organized . . . .
