A neat place to display some of my inherited collection of costume jewelry from the 1950's and 60's...it was all just languishing in a box in my dresser....they are displayed along the upper curve of the chaise back which is high enough that the pins don't poke anyone who sits....
Replaced the hot pink bun feet with something more dainty and repainted the pink buttons along the bottom edge
Finallly, a use and place for all my leftover upholstery trim...

I saw a similar chaise in a home furnishings store for over $1000 and thought I could do that....my daughter had this mini-chaise since childhood so dragged it down out of her room and gave it a face lift...and it is currently residing in the living room in a corner next to the piano....the verdict is still out, though...dear husband is just tolerating my whimsical wackiness right now, so it will probaby get moved,...but fun for now!
