This is the bedding pattern that the piece needs to coordinate with. The piece will hang in the nursery when completed.
My idea sketched out in Adobe Illustrator, playing on the birds and flowers found in the bedding pattern.
The plates that will be used...
Cutting the plates in a fun way.
The final piece. It will be hand-delivered at Christmas!

Another fun project with license plates! My client (who doubles as my sister!) wanted to have a piece of license plate art made for her new baby's nursery, that both matched her bedding style and was an homage to three states that represented her family: Alabama, Michigan and Virginia. The photos tell the story, from original idea through final execution. Hope you enjoy.
