Door turned desk
November 12th, 2009 in member junk
Turning an old door into a desk or work surface is certainly not a new concept, but here's my take on the idea. Pairing the door with chunky ornate legs that once held a formica table top, makes for the perfect desk in my craft room. My first color attempt was a two-tone brown & black, but the new distressed "stain-over-paint" finish fits my area much better. Check out our blog at www.junk-fest.blogspot.com for more pictures.

Really beautiful desk. I have to echo what everyone else
has said about the legs. Wow, do they ever make the piece.
It sure looks like a wonderful work space for you.
Have a great winter creating. I hope to see you again
in the summer.
