Old Spindle Repurpose Project "Whimsical Feather Christmas Trees"
November 1st, 2009 in member junkFinally thought of a unique project to make with my collected old spindles.
1- Cut spindle down to size and cut square 2x4 for base.
2- Screw half of dowel screw (2 sided screw) into the spindle and the other half into the base.
3- Prime and Paint
4- Using floral pins to attach, wrap Christmas lights around styrofoam cone.
5- Using straight pins to attach, wrap boa around styrofoam cone.
6- Gently push styrofoam cone down onto spindle until secure.
7- Then have fun decorating with lightweight objects.
