I found this quilt top in an old house. I knew it needed to be made into something special. I took my baby quilt (that was made by my paternal grandmother) and a fannel sheet that was my maternal grandmother's grandmothers for the batting. I found a flannel sheet in the same house so I used that for the back. I made a rolled edge and stitched in the ditch. In the tradition of my family I decided to tie it together. My mom always used yarn, but I used crochet thread and made several knots.  When it was finished, I gave it to my grandbaby.
